Details:
Start: July, ongoing
Schedule: 6-8 open shifts per month, 12-hour shifts (primarily nights)
Shift Types: Nights 6p-6a / Days 6a-6p (Facility A); Nights 7p-7a / Days 7a-7p (Facility B)
Call: None
Scope: Solo ED coverage with RN and tech support; standard ED procedures, chest tube insertion, stabilize-and-ship (med flight available for major trauma)
Volume: ~28-40 patients/24hr (Facility A, Level III trauma / stroke-ready); ~17-22 patients/24hr (Facility B, rural emergency hospital)
EMR: Meditech Expanse
Support: On-call hospitalist, ortho, peds, general surgery, and anesthesia

Requirements: ABEM, or ABIM/ABFM board certification with significant EM experience; active KS license or IMLC; BLS/ACLS/ATLS/PALS (AHA preferred)
