Hospitalist Opportunity in Wyoming | $220 Per Hour | PTO & CME Leave

As a Hospitalist, you’ll care for an average daily census of just 15-18 patients while benefiting from strong clinical support, including inpatient APP coverage and a full complement of in-house subspecialists. Flexible 12-hour shifts allow you to block your schedule for extended time off or pick up additional shifts to increase your earning potential. You’ll also have the opportunity to maintain procedural skills, teach medical students through the WWAMI program, and practice in a respected Level III Trauma Center that is committed to delivering exceptional care to its community. 

 

Position, Compensation & Organization Highlights 

  • Ranked Top 20 Rural & Community Hospital in 2026 
  • A County Memorial Hospital with a Level III Trauma Designation 
  • Employed W2 with flexible schedule: 12-hour shifts 
  • Double physician coverage on days shifts, single coverage for night shifts 
  • Ability to block shifts and schedule extra shifts for additional income 
  • 12 shifts/month = $380,160, 15 shifts/month = $475,200 
  • Average daily census of 12 patients plus 4 – 6 admissions 
  • Procedural proficiency preferred: central lines, A-lines, and thoracentesis 
  • Inpatient APP support with a full complement of in-house subspecialists  
  • 13-bed plus 3 triage rooms Emergency Department 
  • Considering Internal Medicine candidates or Family Medicine candidates with Hospital Medicine fellowship training 
  • Relocation to the community is required
