Locums Urologist – Flexible 2 Weeks/Month | Visalia, CA | November–June
Job Description
Assignment Details
- Location: Visalia, California
- Duration: November 26 through June 27, with potential for extension
- Reason for Coverage: Provide additional support to an established urology group
Schedule
- Flexible 2 weeks per month
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Clinic-only schedule available
- Providers interested in operating can be assigned dedicated OR time on the second or fourth Wednesday of each month
- Weekend-only availability is not being considered
Call (Optional)
- Weekend call available:
- Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
- Unrestricted call covering both ER and established group patients
Practice Details
- Clinic Volume: 18–22 patients per day
- OR Volume: 3–5 cases per full OR day
- Weekend Patient Contact (if taking call): Approximately 2–8 hours
- Scope of Practice: General (“bread-and-butter”) urology
Facility & Support
- 613-bed, Level III Trauma Center
- Join a collaborative team of 2 Urologists
- 24/7 in-house anesthesia support (MDAs and CRNAs)
EMR
- Cerner (Dragon dictation and AI documentation resources available)
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Active California medical license required at the time of application
