Outpatient Pediatric Locum Tenens Opportunity in Chicago

Outpatient Pediatrician – Locum Opportunity Chicago, IL | FQHC Setting

We are seeking a Spanish-speaking Pediatrician (or Family Medicine physician comfortable with 100% pediatrics) for an outpatient locum assignment at a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center on the west side of Chicago.

Assignment Details

• Dates: October 5, 2026 – January/February 2027 (with potential to extend)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Additional coverage: 1 evening shift per month + 1 Saturday morning (9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) per month
• Call: None
• Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day (10 per half-day)
• Scope: Bread-and-butter outpatient pediatrics
• EMR: Athena
• Support: MA, RN, and full office staff

Requirements

• Active Illinois medical license
• Fluent Spanish
• Board-certified (or eligible) in Pediatrics preferred; Family Medicine candidates who are comfortable seeing 100% pediatrics will also be considered

This is a steady outpatient role in a supportive FQHC environment with predictable hours and no call. Ideal for a provider looking for consistent weekday coverage with light weekend/evening involvement.
