OBGYN – Locums – Chicago, IL

The OBGYN locums position in Illinois…
-Location: Chicago, IL
-Duration: October – March
-Schedule: 4-6 shifts per month
-Shift: 7a-7a 
-Call: In-house not required, but most providers stay in house given the volumes.
-Scope of practice: back up to the CNM, Family Practice-Obstetrics, and Groups patients
>OB triage required; postpartum & antepartum rounding; GYN rounding/ED coverage as back up only
-Volume: 80–100 deliveries/month
-Patients: 32 weeks gestation
-EMR: Epic EMR
-Support: neonatologists on call, 24/7 in house anesthesiologist
-Hospital: Level II Intermediate Care Nursery, 290 beds, level II trauma
-Required: Board certified or board eligible with Illinois license, DEA and CSR
