Locum OB Hospitalist — Oregon

In-house OB hospitalist/laborist coverage at a high-volume regional hospital. 24-hour shifts, no clinic.

• Start: January/February 2027, ongoing
• Shifts: 24-hour shifts (preferred), 3–6 per month, no back-to-back shifts
• Coverage: In-house only, within 5 minutes of L&D. Separate office and call room. No clinic or outside call.
• Volume: ~160 deliveries per month across the hospital. The OB hospitalist team handles ~40 per month and assists other providers with C-sections as needed.
• Scope: OB hospitalist/laborist. Deliveries from 23 weeks; forceps and vacuum used.
• EMR: Epic with charting templates and Dragon dictation

Requirements

• ABOG board certified
• Active Oregon license
• Minimum 50 deliveries in the past 2 years
• Clean background preferred. Any malpractice history must be disclosed.
