Locum Hem / Onc | California | Top Cancer Center

Details:

• Location: Sacramento, CA area
• Duration: December 2026 – June 2027 (open to extend)
• Schedule: Full-time, 4 weeks per month

• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p – 3-5 days per week
• Call: 1:4 required (1 week day + 1 weekend per; can be taken remotely, consults only, call back only happens about 1 time per year)
• Scope: clinic only, 75 % Oncology / 25% Hematology
• Volume: average 14-16 patients/day; 30 min. follow-ups, 60 min. for new visits
• EMR: EPIC
• Clinic: Academic affiliated Comprehensive Cancer Center. The National Cancer Institute recognizes it as one of the top cancer centers in the country.
• Group: 4 Hem/Onc MDs, 1 NP, 2 RAD ONC, full support staff  
• Credentialing: Quick temps in 45-60 days
• Require: BC ideally Hem/Onc (must have hematology experience), Active CA License/DEA, clean NPDB preferred
