Hematology/Oncology Locums – Birmingham, AL | 2–4 Weeks/Month

Location: Birmingham, AL 
Duration: April 2027 – July (initial 3 month contract, with option to extend)
Schedule: Clinic Mon-Thurs from 8:00am-4:30pm; 2-4 weeks/month
Shift: 8:00a-4:30p
Call requirements: 1:4 rotating 24hr weekend call. Rotating weeknight call 2 nights per week from M-TH only. Nurse on 1^st call and very light call volume during the week. 
Scope of practice: Hematology-Oncology with 50/50 split. Mix of clinic, IP consults and call coverage
Volume: 15-18 ppd
EMR: EPIC
Hospital: Level III Trauma , 595 beds
Requirements (boards, license): Board Certified Medical Oncology with AL license or active IMLC
