Practice, Compensation & Organization Highlights
- Full-scope General Surgery APP role with extensive operative experience
- New graduates encouraged to apply
- Nurse Practitioner First Assist or Physician Assistant opportunity
- Work alongside an established surgeon bringing an existing private practice into the hospital
- First assist in the OR 1-2 days per week
- Broad surgical exposure including minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures
- Perform cases involving gallbladder, appendix, hernia, endocrine, foregut, anti-reflux, and oncologic surgery
- Gain experience with endoscopy and Da Vinci robotic surgery
- Balanced responsibilities including clinic, inpatient care, rounding, and operative first assist
- Monday-Friday schedule with half-days on Fridays
- Typical schedule includes 1-2 OR days and approximately 2.5 clinic days each week
- 8-10 call shifts per month focused primarily on surgical coverage
- Physicians manage primary phone call responsibilities
- Competitive $140,000-$160,000 base salary with productivity incentives
