The Locum Tenens ONC Opportunity in Southern California.…

Location: South of Palm Springs, CA
Duration: July 2026 – July 2027 (6 months minimum, up to 12 months)
Schedule: Full-time, Mon – Fri clinic + occasional call
Shift: 8a-5p in clinic
Call: 1:4 weekends, The first call over the weekend is handled by an APP. Option for weekend night call.
Patient volume: 10-12 patients per day in clinic. 3-4 hospital visits per week
Scope: HEM/ONC, mostly outpatient, some inpatient
EMR: Epic
Hospital: 500 beds, 8 bed NICU, Level II NICU, level I trauma center, 55 ED beds, 85K annual visits
Group/support: APP takes first call over the weekend, 8 other oncologists in the practice
Requirements (boards, license): Active California license, California DEA
