An academic-affiliated Neurology program in Kentucky is seeking board certified neurologists to join a high-demand, expanding service line within a thrombectomy-capable stroke center. This is an uncommon opportunity to step into an existing patient panel with growth fueled by increasing regional demand serving 770,000 people with more than 1,100 hospital beds in the community. Candidates can choose between a Neurohospitalist role with a 7 on / 7 off schedule or outpatient clinical position with opportunities to subspecialize in one of several different areas. The program supports a wide range of neurological specialties, allowing physicians to build or further develop their niche within a collaborative environment. With strong referral support across a multi-state region the neurology team practices at the forefront of neurological care. Clinical General Neurology Position 

  • Outpatient Neurology practice 
  • Subspecialty opportunities in Dementia, Movement Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, and Neuromuscular/EMG 
  • Growing demand due to regional market changes 
  • Strong referral base across the Tri-State region 
  • Dedicated support including five EMG technologists for neuromuscular services 
  • Base Salary: $400,000 with strong incentive bonus structure 
  • Sign-on Bonus: $50,000 plus $20,000 annual student loan assistance (up to 3 years)

Neurohospitalist Position

  • Neurohospitalist position with 7 on / 7 off schedule available 
  • Thrombectomy-capable stroke center with advanced clinical capabilities 
  • Growing team including neurologists, interventional neurologist, and incoming neurosurgeon 
  • TeleNeurology covers nights
  • Robust GME program
