Locums – General Cardiology in Georgia!

New Job Details –
Location: Georgia (Inquire for exact location)
Duration: March-June 2027 for Maternity Leave (potential to extend)
Schedule: Flexible 1-4 weeks per month
Shift: Monday-Friday (day shifts) + rotating weekend call – 5 days a week; Monday – Friday; inpatient days would be typically 0700 – 1700, outpatient days typically 0800 – 1700. The hours are flexible. (Keep in mind, hospital procedures are at 0700–not very flexible).
Call: Weekend call – Rotating call schedule – Friday 1700 – Monday 0700.
Patient volume: average 4 inpatient and 17 outpatient patients per full-day
Scope: Non-invasive cardiology – Both inpatient (rounding/consults/procedures; no admits) and Outpatient. Rounding weeks: IP 0700 – 0900, OP 0900 – 1200, IP 1200 – 1300, OP 1300 – 1700. This occurs biweekly. Non-rounding weeks: OP 0800 – 1700.
Required Procedures/cases: TEE’s and cardioversions
EMR: Epic and Cerner
Group/support: Full support staff – APP’s for both IP/OP and Anesthesia support
Requirements (boards, license): Board Certified, Active GA License
