Locum Family Medicine| Washington (compact state) | Flexible scheduling!

Location: Beautiful Olympic Peninsula, Washington
Specialty Accepted: Family Medicine Physician or Family Medicine with OB Physician
Duration: September 2026 – January 2027 (option to extend)
Family Medicine Details:

• Schedule: 3 days per week, Monday-Friday 8a-6p or 7a-5p
• Shift: flexible locum gap coverage, 10 hour shifts (8 hours patient facing and 2 hour admin time)
• Call: N/A

• Scope: Family Medicine Outpatient Primary Care for All ages, women’s health is a plus but not required
• Volume: average 18+ patients per day

Family Medicine with OB Details:

• Schedule: 3 days per week, Monday-Friday 8a-6p or 7a-5p
• Shift: flexible locum gap coverage, 10 hour shifts (8 hours patient facing and 2 hour admin time)
• Call: rotating 1:5, 7a-7a 1x per week, rotating weekends

• Scope: 80% Family Medicine / 20% OB – Full spectrum women’s health care, Outpatient Primary Care with OB, C-section & neonatal admit/rounding, vaginal deliveries, high risk OB is transferred, circumcisions not required
• C-sections: Assisting is required, primary surgeon is optional for someone with the training.
• Volume: average 18+ patients per day
• Call Volume: primary call for OB and newborn care. There is always a second physician on back up call for c-sections/emergencies
• OB Volume: less than 100 deliveries per year (~1-2 per week). There are also nonstress tests and OB triage visits averaging 1 per day that don’t always need the physician to physically come in to the hospital.
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital: Level IV trauma, 25 beds
• Credentialing: 90 days
• Require: Board Certified, Active WA License or IMLC Compact License
