Please see below for a Locum Tenens opportunity hosted by Pacific Companies. We are seeking an Oncologist for full time Locums coverage in New York.

This Oncology Locum Tenens position is located in New York.

Location: One hour from Albany, NY (Inquire for specific location)
Duration: As soon as credentialed (6 weeks w/ temps) – ongoing, 6 months+
Reason for coverage: Physician Leave of Absence
Schedule: Full-time, 4 weeks per month (cannot consider multiple at this time)
Shift: Monday-Friday 8a-5p clinic + 1:5 rotating weeknight and weekend call
Call: 1:5 weeknights (4:30p-8:30a, mainly telephone only, unless there’s an urgent consult that cannot hold until morning.) 1:5 weekend 24-hr call (8:30a-8:30a)
Patient volume: average 15-20 PPD clinic (6 new patients/week).
Scope: Locum HemOnc both OP clinic and IP call – 40% Hematology 60% Oncology *with specifically Breast Oncology sub-specialty training or experience
Duties: Outpatient: New patients, follow-up visits, treatment, chemotherapy. Inpatient: Call, rounding in hospital.
EMR: Epic, Beacon
Hospital: 391 beds
Group/support: 5 Physicians, 5 APPs. PA on IP service as support M-F. Radiation Oncology group onsite.
Requirements (boards, license): Board Certified in HemOnc with Breast Oncology experience, Active NYS License
