An exciting Academic General Cardiology opportunity is available in Denver, Colorado, offering a dynamic blend of clinical practice, subspecialty development, and academic engagement. This role is primarily outpatient-focused with optional inpatient exposure, allowing physicians to maintain a balanced and flexible schedule. You will join a collaborative team of cardiologists across multiple subspecialties, supported by advanced imaging capabilities and strong APP and resident infrastructure. Position, Compensation & Organization Highlights 

  • General Cardiology role with outpatient focus and optional inpatient rounding (4–6 weeks/year) 
  • 4-day clinical workweek with built-in administrative time 
  • 46 working weeks annually supporting work-life balance 
  • Team of 10 cardiologists including EP, heart failure/transplant, and invasive specialists 
  • Advanced imaging including CT, MRI, echo, TEE, stress testing, and implantable monitors 
  • Specialty programs in cardio-oncology, cardio-rheumatology, sarcoidosis, pulmonary hypertension, and women’s cardiovascular care 
  • Academic-style practice with interaction alongside cardiology fellows 
  • Strong APP and resident support for efficient patient care 
  • Hybrid academic-employed model with opportunities to develop subspecialty focus 
  • Light call schedule: approximately 1 weekday per month and 4–6 weekends annually 
  • Separate interventional call team minimizes overnight responsibilities 
  • Tertiary referral base with over 30% of patients from out of state 
  • Opportunity to lead and build clinical research programs with institutional support 
  • Collaboration with on-site cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology teams
