Radiation Oncology locum tenens opportunity in Michigan

Location: Michigan
Duration: June 2026 – Ongoing
Reason for coverage: Physician retirement
Schedule: 3 days per week, Tuesday – Thursday are the preferred days of the week needed for coverage
Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm
Call: Weeknight Call Only, call is optional but preferred while the provider is already on site.
Patient volume: 15-25 per day
Scope: Clinic: 90% Outpatient 10% Inpatient, mainly outpatient, inpatient consults are infrequent but still possible

• E&M, Consults, Follow-ups, Treatments
• Dedicated tumor boards that would have to be attended weekly

Cases/Procedures: CT Sim, IGRT, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS, HDR
EMR: Epic Dragon
Hospital: Level 3 Trauma.
Group/support: No APP’s
Requirements (boards, license): Board certified with Michigan license or IMLC. Active AHA – BLS, ACLS, PALS
Case Logs: Must be able to demonstrate that they have provided primary or consultative services in radiation oncology for at least 25 patients in the past 12 months.
