An excellent opportunity is available for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a growing Orthopedic Surgery practice in Wyoming. This newly created role is designed to support a busy orthopedic surgeon in both the clinic and operating room, offering a balanced and hands-on clinical experience. The position provides a mix of patient care and surgical exposure, allowing you to work at the top of your license in a collaborative environment. With a predictable 4-day workweek and no call responsibilities, this role is built for both professional development and lifestyle balance. You’ll be part of a focused, team-oriented setting with direct mentorship and consistent case volume. This is an ideal opportunity for an APP with orthopedic or surgical experience looking to build long-term expertise in a supportive practice. 

 

Position, Compensation & Organization Highlights 

  • APP role supporting a single orthopedic surgeon in clinic and OR 
  • Open to PA or NP (NP must have first assist certification) 
  • Orthopedic or surgical experience preferred 
  • 4-day workweek with 3 clinic days and 1 OR day 
  • Approximately 18 patients per day in clinic 
  • Assist with 7–12 surgical procedures per week 
  • Mix of clinic and surgical responsibilities with shared patient care, while managing your own patient panel 
  • Opportunity to evaluate patients and assist in surgical planning 
  • No call responsibilities and minimal inpatient duties 
  • Occasional discharge responsibilities as needed 
  • Access to Da Vinci Xi robotic platform 
  • Focus on general orthopedic procedures 
  • Competitive base salary of $130K–$146K 
  • $10K–$15K sign-on bonus with flexible payout options 
  • CME allowance of $5K annually 
  • 224 hours of PTO supporting work-life balance
