Pacific Companies is presenting a locum tenens Radiology opportunity near Grand Junction, Colorado, offering a flexible, ongoing assignment beginning in September. This role is ideal for radiologists seeking a balanced onsite schedule with the option to work 3–5 days per week and 2–4 weeks per month. The practice is looking to support both Diagnostic and Mammography needs, with a well-defined procedural mix and negotiable daily volumes. You’ll practice in a streamlined environment with reliable onsite and remote coverage support, allowing for focused, efficient reads and procedures. The schedule is weekday-only with no call requirements, supporting excellent work-life balance. This opportunity is well-suited for Board Certified or Board Eligible radiologists licensed in Colorado or holding a compact license.

Position Highlights

Locum tenens Radiology assignment
Location: Near Grand Junction
Duration: September – ongoing
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Commitment: 3–5 days per week or 2–4 weeks per month
No call responsibilities

Clinical Volume (Negotiable)

X-ray: Approximately 50 per day
CT: Approximately 25 per day
Mammography: Approximately 15 per day
Ultrasound: Approximately 18 per day
MRI: Approximately 5–8 per day

Scope & Technology

Need: 1 Diagnostic Radiologist and 1 Mammography Radiologist
Standard procedures: Lung, liver, and bone biopsies; comprehensive mammography
Fluoroscopy: Esophagrams and barium studies (no cardiac procedures)
Technical procedures: Savvy stereo devices, Scout equipment, thoracentesis, paracentesis
EMR: Meditech
PACS: Infinitt
