Locum Tenens Neurosurgeon – Call coverage – Oklahoma 

• Location: Oklahoma (25 minutes from the Oklahoma City airport)

• Duration: December 2026 – August 2027 (option to extend)

• Schedule: per diem, 5–10 shifts per month 
• Shift: 24-hour call shifts (taken from the hotel)

• Scope: ER call coverage, rounds and consults. Including cranial and spine cases.
• Volumes: 5–10 consults and 1–3 surgeries per day 

• Hospital: 500 beds, level II trauma center

• Group: 4 other neurosurgeons coverage, full subspecialty support  

• EMR: Epic

Requirements 

• Board Certified in Neurosurgery 

• Active Oklahoma license, or an IMLC Letter of Qualification 

Credentialing takes about 60 days.
