Locum Cardiovascular Surgery PA-C | Greater Atlanta Metro | No Call | Oct 2026 Start

Duration: October 12, 2026 – June 2027
Schedule: 1-2 weeks per month (7-day blocks preferred)
Shift: 6a-6p inhouse
Call: N/A
Scope of practice: (PA only) APP Cardiovascular Surgery – all adults, must have endoscopic vein harvesting proficiency, first assisting, sternal chest closure, preferably some CVICU experience
Volume: 10-20 per shift, avg 4-6 admissions/consults per day
EMR: Epic
Support: Full-subspecialty support with 5 FTE APPs and CVS
Hospital: Level I Trauma Center – 633-bed 
Requirements (boards, license): Active GA license, clean NPDB. Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C), 4-5+ years of cardiac surgery experience
