Gastroenterology Job in Southern California | Private Practice Partnership Track

Job Description

Pacific Companies is proud to present a General Gastroenterology opportunity with an established Southern California private practice that has served its community for decades. This is a distinctly physician-driven environment for a gastroenterologist who values ownership mentality, patient-centered decision-making, and the ability to practice without layers of bureaucracy. The group has built a culture where physicians step in for one another, remain responsive to patient needs, and work together until the day’s responsibilities are complete. While the practice is firmly rooted in private practice, its relationship with a university-sponsored GI fellowship creates a unique hybrid environment that provides interaction with physicians in training. The incoming gastroenterologist will have room to develop an individual clinical niche while becoming an integral part of a highly collaborative group with an exceptional history of physician retention.?

Build Your Life in Southern California

For a gastroenterologist who wants to remain in California while building a long-term private practice career, this opportunity provides access to a large and established Southern California healthcare market. The practice’s location allows physicians to build their professional reputation within a community where specialty GI access remains in demand. Its longstanding relationships with local physicians and hospitals create an environment where community providers can directly connect with the GI team when their patients need timely care. This local, relationship-based approach stands in contrast to larger tertiary referral environments, where non-emergent patients may face significantly longer waits. Physicians who enjoy becoming known within their medical community and developing lasting referral relationships can find meaningful professional roots here.?

Community & Practice – Market Highlights

  • Southern California location
  • Established local physician and hospital relationships
  • Strong community demand for gastroenterology services
  • Routine GI access can require 6–12 weeks for non-emergent patients
  • Larger tertiary referral centers may have waits of 4–6 months for non-emergent care
  • Established community referral network
  • Opportunity to serve patients locally who might otherwise require tertiary referral
  • Two established office locations serving the surrounding market
  • Longstanding presence within the Southern California medical community
  • Opportunity to build a lasting reputation within a patient-focused private practice?
