The Endocrinology locums position in Maryland…
-Location: Maryland (equal distance between D.C. and Baltimore)
-Duration: July/August 2026 – March 2027 (potential for extension)
-Schedule: Full-time preferred; may consider 2-3 weeks per month
>>36 patient-facing hours + 4 administrative hours weekly.
-Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
-Call: Rotating after-hours call for office patients; light/low volume
-Volume: 18–20 patients per day; 40-minute new patient visits and 20-minute follow-up visits
-Scope: Outpatient only; approximately 50% Endocrinology and 50% Diabetes management
-EMR: Epic
-Group: Onsite support includes a diabetes educator, phlebotomy services, and advanced practice providers in the clinic
-Hospital: 285-bed hospital
-Required: Board Certified; Maryland license or Letter of Qualification (LOQ) for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
