Position, Compensation & Organization Highlights
- Division Chief of Gastroenterology & Hepatology with full division leadership responsibilities
- Lead an established academic division with 10 faculty physicians, 4 APPs, 2 dedicated GI hospitalists, and 9 GI fellows
- Faculty expertise includes Advanced Endoscopy, Motility, General GI, IBD, and GI Hospital Medicine
- Significant leadership autonomy in faculty recruitment, mentorship, strategic planning, clinic operations, and division growth
- Opportunity to expand services through a new community hospital and additional outreach clinics
- Active clinical practice with protected administrative time tailored to leadership responsibilities
- Dedicated GI Hospitalist program significantly reduces inpatient responsibilities
- Integrated Digestive Health Center featuring clinic, endoscopy, motility, research, faculty offices, and administrative support in one location
- Advanced procedural capabilities including ERCP, POEM, therapeutic endoscopy, FibroScan, and advanced motility testing
- Robust research environment with clinical trials, translational research, NIH-funded investigators, and dedicated research support
- Oversee an accredited GI Fellowship with 9 fellows and a new Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship launching in 2027
- Approximately 10,000 annual clinic visits and 8,000 procedures
- $600,000–$650,000 base salary, $60,000 sign-on bonus, $10,000 relocation assistance, and RVU productivity incentives
