Job Description
The Critical Care locums position in California…
-Location: near Palo Alto, CA
-Duration: January – April (potential to extend)
-Schedule: rotating blocks, Monday – Thursday or Friday – Sunda
-Shift: 7a-7a (in house 7a-7p + night call)
-Call: yes
-Volume: 12-16 patients per day
-Scope: med/surg ICU management (option for pulmonary consults if pulmonary trained)
-Procedures: independent management of ventilated and shock patients, central and arterial lines, airway management and point-of-care ultrasound (Bronchoscopy experience is preferred for the pulmonary line)
-EMR: Epic
-Hospital: 208 general beds, 16 bed ICU, no trauma
-Required: Board certified in Critical Care Medicine with a California license and California DEA
