Position, Compensation & Organization Highlights 

  • Division Chief role with endowed chair appointment 
  • Lead the Clinical Pathology division with strategic and quality oversight 
  • Maintain active clinical practice within subspecialty focus 
  • No requirement to manage day-to-day subspecialty lab operations 
  • Established leadership across microbiology, chemistry, hematology, molecular diagnostics, transfusion medicine, and cytogenetics 
  • High-volume lab performing over 3 million tests annually 
  • Collaborative department with 14+ pathology faculty across AP and CP 
  • Integrated environment with genomics, precision medicine, and cancer diagnostics programs 
  • Approximately $10M in NIH-funded research across affiliated programs 
  • Access to advanced molecular, cytogenetic, and esoteric laboratory services 
  • Participation in statewide oncology biorepository and clinical trials 
  • Opportunities in digital pathology and AI-enabled diagnostics 
  • Academic appointment at Associate or Full Professor level 
  • Teaching responsibilities with residents, fellows, and medical students
