This Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery Locum Tenens position is located in Texas (85 miles from Houston)

Location: Southeast Texas (Inquire for specific location)
Duration: Sept/Oct 2026 – Mar 2027
Reason for coverage:
Schedule: Ideally seeking a minimum of 7 consecutive shifts per month
Shift: 7a-7a, 24 hour call
Scope: Pager call, no clinic

- CABG
- Carotid Endarterectomy
- EVAR
- MVR
- AVR
- Impella insertion
- Thoracotomy
- TAVR
- VATS
- Pericardial Window
- Rib Plating/Sternal Plating/Sternum Rewire
Volume: Average CV hospital census is 10-12 patients (includes rounding)
EMR: EPIC
Hospital: 431 Beds, Level III trauma center
Group/support: Full support staff
Requirements (boards, license): Board Certified or truly Board Eligible, EPIC experience required.
