Behavioral Health Clinician Job in California Gold Country | $135K–$156K | 4-Day Week Option

Bring behavioral health directly into the primary care setting through a role built around collaboration, early intervention, and meaningful continuity with patients. The strongest fit is a clinician experienced in primary care behavioral health and short-term brief therapy who is comfortable working across medical and behavioral health disciplines. You will serve a predominantly adult and geriatric population while also helping strengthen the next generation of clinicians through supervision of associate social workers completing their required training hours. The model emphasizes rapid access to evidence-based care, from warm handoffs and assessment to treatment planning, crisis response, and ongoing coordination with the broader healthcare team. Rather than practicing in isolation, you will work alongside providers to address the behavioral, psychological, and social factors affecting overall health. This is an opportunity for an adaptable, compassionate clinician who wants both direct patient impact and a meaningful role within an integrated care team. 

Position, Compensation & Organization 

• $65–$75/hour, equivalent to approximately $135,200–$156,000 annually 
• Monday–Friday operation with 10-hour shifts available 
• Clinical supervision of associate clinicians working toward required training hours 
• Combination of direct patient care, program oversight, and individual/group clinical supervision 
• Evidence-based treatment for psychological, behavioral, cognitive, and emotional concerns 
• Telehealth services incorporated as needed 
• Collaborate with healthcare providers on comprehensive treatment plans 
• Perform screenings, psychosocial assessments, clinical intakes, and progress monitoring 
• Connect patients with community resources including transportation, housing, and financial assistance 
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, counselors, school support staff, and other service agencies 
• Opportunity to work with patients across age groups 
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field required for supervisory role 
• LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist qualifications accepted for the supervisory position 
• Bilingual candidates preferred but not required
