Job Description

We have a Hospital in Indiana that needs Neurology locum help. Please review the details below and let us know if it could be helpful to you or a colleague.

Neurology Hospitalist Locum Tenens Coverage | Starting July/August

Location: Southern Indiana
Duration: Ongoing 1-2 weeks per month and holidays
Schedule/Shift: Coverage need is Monday-Thursday 1 p.m. to 8 a.m. and 24-hour call coverage Friday-Sunday. 
Call: 24 Hour Friday-Sunday
Patient volume: 4-6 consults/day, which is steadily increasing due to the thrombectomy program. Average census of 10-12 on service.
Scope: Neurology consults as an embedded part of the inpatient adult hospitalist team; EEG reads.
EMR: Altera (SCM)
Hospital: Joint Commission Accredited Primary Stroke Center and as an essential specialty in our Thrombectomy Program. 390 Beds, Level II
Group/support: Priority Care Inpatient Services Hospitalist team. Neurologist is embedded within the hospitalist team and consults only. Managerial support provided. 
Requirements: BC and active Indiana license or IMLC
Credentialing: 90-120 days likely
Travel, lodging and malpractice-provided
