OBGYN locum tenens opportunity in Georgia
Location: 30 minutes from Downtown Atlanta, GA
Duration: September – Ongoing
Schedule: 4-6 shifts per month
Call: 24-hour call
Patient volume: ~25 in office and avg. 10 in the OB unit in the hospital
Scope: Outpatient: gen obgyn. 90% adult with some teen pregnancies. No pediatrics in the office., Inpatient: c-sections, D&C, Ectopic laproscopic surgery, Emergency hysterectomy, Vaginal lacerations, Other emergency OB GYN surgical procedures. Avg 5 admissions/day. Must be able to do c-sections, assist with complicated deliveries,
EMR: EPIC
Hospital: 347 bed level 3
Group/support: CNM in hospital while on call, supervision is required by the locum.
Requirements (boards, license): GA licensed or IMLC License in hand, Board Certified, Covid Vaccinated.
