Job Description

This Cardiothoracic Surgery Locum Tenens position is located in Shenandoah Valley area of Virginia.

Location:  Virginia (Inquire for specific location)
Duration: June 2025 – December 2025
Reason for coverage: Vacation coverage
Schedule: Week long blocks
Shift: Monday – Sunday, 7a-7a
Volumes: Relatively low
Scope: Cardiothoracic Surgery
Procedures: CABG, AVR, MVR, Type A Dissection
Case Mix: Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve surgeries and advanced heart failure care
EMR: Epic
Affiliated Hospital: 238 beds, no trauma designation
Group/support: 2 other CTS surgeons, APPs,
Requirements: Active VA license, board certified, COVID vaccine
