Details:
- Location: North Carolina
- Duration: July – Ongoing Locums Coverage
- Schedule: Flexible – 24 hr. call shifts – 10 days/month
- Shift: Fri 7am – Mon 7am – 24 hr. weekends + dates as your schedule allows
- Call: can be taken from hotel
- Scope: Inpatient Pediatric Hospitalist 24-hr. Call only – newborn call, ED consults, NRP, Occasional extra-digit ligation
- No med/ped unit, circumcisions preferred but not required (OB’s perform)
- Volume: average 2 newborn admissions per day, 2-3 calls/day, average call back 1 every 3-4 days
- ED calls: 1/week (phone advise only, does not have to go in)
- EMR: Epic
- Group: 2 MD’s, 1.5 NP’s
- Hospital: 98 beds, no trauma
- Credentialing: temps can be granted in 2-4 weeks
- Require: BC, Active NC license, DEA, NRP
