Job Description

URGENT NEED – Neonatology APP (Locums) 
Setting: Level IV NICU at a 520-bed, Level I trauma center
EMR: EPIC

Assignment Details:

  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Shifts Available:
    • Days: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
    • Nights: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
    • 24-hour shifts available
  • Schedule: 7-14 shifts/month, potential for more
  • Call: None
  • Volume:
    • ~8–12 NICU patients per provider/shift
    • NICU Census ~40
    • ~3 new NICU admissions/day

Team & Support:

  • Multidisciplinary NICU team including:
    • APPs
    • RNs
    • Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellows
    • Neonatologists
    • Pharmacy & Nutrition support

Requirements:

  • License: Active GA license
  • Certification: Board Certified
  • Experience: Prior Level III/IV NICU experience preferred
  • Temporary Privileges: Available for qualified providers
