New Locum Tenens Opportunity in Virginia – Cardiology
Location: Virginia – Inquire for precise location
Duration: Start as soon as credentialed (Approx. 90 days) – Ongoing 6-12 months
Reason for coverage: Vacancy
Schedule: 2-4 weeks per month
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8a-4:30p 8 hr. shift
Call: Optional rotating weekend call 24-hour, Saturday 8a – Monday 8a
Patient volume: Reads 30-35/day, clinic 18-22 PPD, rounding 15-20 PPD (Schedule would not include all three, but could be split between two with reduced volumes)
Scope: General Cardiology – to include Clinic, In-patient Rounding, and Reading Echo and Nuclear studies
EMR: Clinic: Athena and Inpatient: Meditech
Hospital: 255 beds, Specialty Services – Heart & Vascular Center, Primary Stroke Center, Comprehensive Cancer Program
Group/support: 3 APP’s, 3-4 MD/DO, including 2 Interventional Cardiologists
Requirements (boards, license): Must be Board Certified in Cardiology, Nuclear, and Echo, Virginia License strongly preferred.
