Job Description

Details:

  • Location: GA
  • Duration: October – ongoing
  • Schedule: 2 weeks per month
  • Shifts: Monday-Sunday 7a-7a (24-hour call for 7 consecutive days)
  • Scope: Advanced Heart Failure and VAD Program – Clinic, Inpatients rounding VAD, Heart Failure Consults 
  • Duties: Clinic: Mon-Thu 1p-5p, Fri 8a-12p. Hospital inpatient VAD Rounds/Heart Failure Consults: Mon-Thu 8a-12p, Fri 1p-5p
  • Volume: Clinic: 10 patients per 4 hour shift. Hospital: 2 consults per 4 hour shift. Call: 1 VAD admission per week
  • EMR: Epic
  • Hospital: Level 1 Trauma, 478 beds
  • Group: CVICU Fellow and RN Coordinator Support. Supervise Fellows and APP’s who do independent clinics
  • Credentialing: 120 days
  • Require: BC, Active GA License or IMLC Compact License, Advanced Heart Fellowship trained (ideally BC as well)
