Our commitment to providing safe, high-quality care may be seen in our accreditation by The Joint Commission, which awards the Gold Seal of Approval to hospitals and organizations that meet its high-quality and safety standards. Adventist Health Hanford earned The Joint Commission accreditation for diabetes and stroke care in 2019. In 2020, Adventist Health Hanford earned the Get with The Guidelines®-Stroke Silver Plus Quality Achievement Award from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. The hospital also received the association’s Target Type 2 Honor Roll Award.

In fall 2019 and spring 2020, Adventist Health Hanford also earned an “A” grade in patient safety from The Leapfrog Group, an independent national watchdog organization committed to healthcare quality and safety.

Adventist Health Selma earned five straight “As” between 2017-2019. Additional local awards are:
